Megha Akash born 26 October 1995 is an Indian actress who predominantly appears in Tamil and Telugu films. She started her acting career with the Telugu film Lai (2017). She made her Tamil film debut in 2019 with Petta and Hindi films with Satellite Shankar. She has also appeared in Raja Raja Chora (2021) and Premdesam (2023).

Early life

Megha was born on 26 October 1995 in Madras (now Chennai), Tamil Nadu to a Telugu father and a Malayali mother. Both her parents work in the advertising sector. She studied at Lady Andal School in Chennai and earned a B.Sc. degree in Visual Communications from Women's Christian College, Chennai.

Personal life

After a six-year relationship, on 22 August 2024, Megha got engaged to her boyfriend Sai Vishnu, son of Su. Thirunavukkarasar, former Minister of State for Shipping of the Republic of India The couple got married on 15 September 2024 in a traditional wedding ceremony in Chennai.

Livelihood

Megha Akash made her acting debut with the Telugu film Lai opposite Nithin The film earned her a nomination for the SIIMA Award for Best Female Debut - Telugu.The following year, she reunited with Nithin for Chal Mohan Ranga. Both films were average at the box office.
